Softball Recap: Greater Lowell Tech Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Greater Lowell Tech can now relate to. They wound up with the same score they had in their last game (5-2), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time.

Greater Lowell Tech saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lily Locapo, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Greater Lowell Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Fontbonne Academy, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 9-6 record.

Greater Lowell Tech does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Fontbonne Academy, they will challenge Tantasqua Regional on Monday. The Warriors will roll in looking for their 14th straight victory, something the Ducks surely won't give up without a fight.
