Baseball Recap: Red Level Comes Up Short

Red Level couldn't beat Flomaton on Tuesday even though they stacked six runs on them in the third inning. The Tigers fell just short of the Hurricanes by a score of 10-9. The Tigers have struggled against the Hurricanes recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Tanner Whatley made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 3-for-5 with four runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Landon Jernigan was another key player, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Red Level's loss dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Flomaton, their victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-10.

Looking ahead, Red Level will take on Excel at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Flomaton, they will face off against Elberta at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
