Football Game Preview: Scottsboro Wildcats vs. Fairview Aggies + How To Watch

Two dominant backs in Jacobi Edmonson and Jake Harper are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Scottsboro Wildcats will face off against the Fairview Aggies at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Scottsboro is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They blew past St. Clair County, posting a 42-6 victory. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by 21 points or more this season.

Scottsboro got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Colton Harding out in front who threw for 88 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 83.3% of his passes, and also punched in one rushing score. Harding's passing game has become a key predictor of the Wildcats' success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 2-4 otherwise. Jayden Gilbert was in the mix as well, providing Scottsboro with two scores.

Meanwhile, Fairview strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They took down Jacksonville 28-13.

Fairview didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Jace Stevens.

Scottsboro's victory bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Fairview, their win bumped their record up to 12-0.
