Baseball Recap: Lincolnview Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Wayne Trace, Lincolnview was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They walked away with a 10-5 victory over the Marion Local Flyers. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Lancers considering their one-run performance the contest before.

Myles Moody was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. He also put up a double, which was his first of the season.

Lincolnview's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Marion Local, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-2.

Coming up, Lincolnview will head out on the road to take on Lima Senior at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Lancers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Spartans have averaged an impressive 6.1 runs per game this season. As for Marion Local, they will be playing at home against New Knoxville at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
