Baseball Recap: Warwick Comes Up Short

Warwick's last matchup with Valley Central could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Wednesday. The Wildcats lost 10-2 to the Vikings. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since May 8, 2023, but that streak is no more.

Warwick's loss dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Valley Central, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-8.

As for Valley Central, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Washingtonville at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Vikings are facing the Wizards at the right time seeing as the Wizards are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
