Recap: Valley vs. Ariton
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Brewbaker Tech, the Valley Rams were happy to have found some success on Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand Ariton a 10-0 shutout. It was an even better day for Molly Williams as she scored seven goals for her team.
The win got Valley back to even at 1-1. As for Ariton, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Valley will look to defend their home pitch on Monday against Troup County at 5:30 p.m. Troup County will be up against Valley's rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.5 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive showing. As for Ariton, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on New Brockton at 7:15 p.m. on March 5th.
