Merrill is a perfect 3-0 against Rhinelander since October of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Bluejays are taking a road trip to square off against the Hodags at 7:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Merrill and four for Rhinelander.

It was a Battle of the Birds when Merrill challenged Lakeland on Thursday. The Bluejays fell 3-1 to the Thunderbirds.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 17-25, 25-19, 25-15.

Miley Krueger put forth a good effort for the losing side as she had nine digs and four aces.

Meanwhile, Rhinelander lost 3-0 to Medford on Thursday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-13, 25-13.

Rhinelander's loss dropped their record down to 2-27. As for Merrill, they now have a losing record of 12-13.

Everything went Merrill's way against Rhinelander when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as Merrill made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bluejays since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
