Baseball Recap: Marion Warriors vs. Moundridge Wildcats

Marion put the finishing touches on their 14th blowout victory of the season on Tuesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Moundridge Wildcats a 10-0 shutout. The win was nothing new for Marion as they're now sitting on three straight.

Cooper Bailey was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing three innings while giving up no earned runs off four hits. Bailey has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive pitching appearances. Bailey was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.

In other batting news, Marion got a massive performance out of Gavin Wasmuth, who went 3-for-3 with four RBI. Jack Lanning was another key contributor, scoring four runs while going 2-for-3.
