Hillsboro gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Lynchburg-Clay Mustangs. The victory continues a trend for the Indians in their matchups with the Mustangs: they've now won four in a row.

While Hillsboro won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-23.

Ryan Wagoner paced Hillsboro's offense, picking up 13 kills. Wagoner got some help from Kayla Seeling and her 27 assists. Josie Rhoades controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Hillsboro didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against McClain on the 16th. As for Lynchburg-Clay, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Whiteoak on the 16th.
