The All S Saints will head out on the road to face off against the Midland Christian Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. All S is no doubt hoping to put an end to a six-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.
All S's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Ellis County Christian Homeschool Organization with a sharp 6-0 win. That six run margin sets a new team best for All S this season.
Sam Coleman was excellent, going 2-for-4 with a triple, a run, and a double. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryan Kramer, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.
Meanwhile, neither Midland Christian nor Trinity Christian made it onto the board last Tuesday thanks to some airtight pitching. Both teams finished up on equal footing with a 0-0 tie. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time Midland Christian has been dealt a tie since back in February.
All S's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. Midland Christian's draw gives them a new season record of 14-14-2.
