Football Game Preview: Bennett Tigers vs. Strasburg Indians + How To Watch

Bennett is 1-9 against Strasburg since September of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Tigers will challenge the Indians at 7:00 p.m. Bennett has given up an average of 41.6 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Bennett's offense might be in the hot seat on Friday considering what happened against Kent Denver last Friday. They were beaten by the Sun Devils 46-0.

Meanwhile, Strasburg put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victors by a 33-7 margin over Kent Denver. The matchup was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Indians had established a 21-point advantage.

Bennett better keep an eye on Cade Hemphill. He was instrumental in Strasburg's win, rushing for 148 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 8.2 yards per carry, and also picking up 82 receiving yards. Hemphill has been hot recently, having posted two or more rushing touchdowns the last three times he's played. Strasburg also got help from Ayden Dodge, who showed off his sure hands for 128 receiving yards.

One reason for the win was Strasburg's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for seven sacks. In that department, Jorge Parra was the leader with 3.5. Jayden Miller got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Strasburg's win bumped their record up to 8-0. As for Bennett, their loss dropped their record down to 0-8.

Bennett was dealt a bruising 35-6 defeat at the hands of Strasburg when the teams last played back in November of 2024. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Tigers were down 28-6.
