Soccer Recap: Calvary Day School Takes a Loss

If Calvary Day School was riding high fresh off their 7-1 takedown of Phoenix Academy on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Cougars fell just short of the GRACE Christian Eagles by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. The matchup was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Calvary Day School couldn't quite close it out.

Their goal came courtesy of Ben Anglin, who's now up to two this season.

Calvary Day School's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for GRACE Christian, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Coming up, Calvary Day School will be playing in front of their home fans against Forsyth Home Educators at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for GRACE Christian, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 4-1 victory against Thales Academy Apex on the 15th.
