Volleyball Recap: Powdersville Takes a Loss

Powdersville kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the New Life Camp Storm.

Among those leading the charge was Graceyn Shepard, who had 11 digs and three assists. Shepard is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least 11 every time she's taken the court this season.

The victory (which was New Life Camp's ninth in a row dating back to last season) raised their record to 3-0.

Powdersville has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against North Raleigh Christian Academy on the 15th. As for New Life Camp, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Marvin Ridge on the 15th.
