Frisco is 8-2 against Independence since December of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Frisco Raccoons will head out to square off against the Independence Knights at 7:15 p.m. Frisco is coming into the match on a five-game losing streak.

Last Friday, Frisco lost to Heritage at home by a 70-55 margin. While losing is never fun, the Raccoons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 768th, while the Coyotes are ranked 18th).

Meanwhile, Independence ended up a good deal behind Liberty on Friday and lost 68-52.

Independence has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-12 record this season. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.1 points per game. As for Frisco, their loss dropped their record down to 5-14.

Frisco skirted past Independence 51-49 in their previous meeting back in February of 2023. Will Frisco repeat their success, or does Independence have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
