Softball Recap: Perryton Drops Highest Score of Season Against Booker

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Perryton). They blew past the Booker Kiowas 24-4 on Tuesday. Considering the Rangers have won five games by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The win made it two in a row for Perryton and bumps their season record up to 5-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Perryton will host Dalhart at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Dalhart is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.9 runs per game this season. As for Booker, they will challenge Sanford-Fritch at 4:00 p.m. on March 4th. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Sanford-Fritch has three straight victories, Booker has five straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
