Hoover came out on top against Nitro on Thursday thanks in part to Katelyn Board's efforts. Board scored three runs while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances, which was good enough to set a new career-high in runs.

Coming up, Board and Hoover will play host again on Monday to welcome Ripley, where first pitch is scheduled at 6:00 p.m. The Huskies are a perfect 3-0 against the Vikings going back to May of 2015, a lead they'll look to extend.
