Softball Recap: Francis Scott Key Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against South Carroll, Francis Scott Key was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They won by a run and slipped past the South Hagerstown Rebels 9-8.

Francis Scott Key's victory bumped their record up to 7-15. As for South Hagerstown, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-8.

Looking ahead, Francis Scott Key will welcome Joppatowne at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Mariners have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 20.89 runs per game on average), something the Eagles will no doubt try to take advantage of. South Hagerstown does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
