Volleyball Recap: Alleman Takes a Loss

Alleman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of Central DeWitt. The Pioneers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Central DeWitt apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Alleman's loss dropped their record down to 9-16. As for Central DeWitt, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-9 record this season.

Alleman wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Davenport North on the 11th. As for Central DeWitt, they will face off against Davenport West at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
