Basketball Game Preview: Bandera BULLDOGS vs. Navarro Panthers

Bandera has gone 4-0 against Navarro recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Bandera BULLDOGS will head out to face off against the Navarro Panthers at 6:30 p.m. Bandera is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55.4 points per game this season.

Bandera is headed into Friday's game hungry for a win as their strong season has now been derailed by two straight defeats. They fell 81-70 to Wimberley on Tuesday.

Bandera might have lost, but man, Beau Bergfeld was a machine: he dropped a double-double on 23 points and ten rebounds. Those 23 points gave Bergfeld a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Elijah Salas, who posted ten points in addition to eight assists and six boards.

Meanwhile, Navarro also suffered a loss in their last game, but this one to Canyon Lake by a score of 48-35. The loss continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with Canyon Lake: they've now lost three in a row.

Navarro's defeat dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Bandera, their loss dropped their record down to 18-7.

Bandera strolled past Navarro when the teams last played back in January of 2024 by a score of 61-47. Will Bandera repeat their success, or does Navarro have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
