Volleyball Game Preview: Adrian Blackhawks vs. Sherwood Marksmen

For the first time this season, Adrian will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will be playing in front of their home fans against the Sherwood Marksmen at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. Adrian is coming into the match hot, having won their last five games.

On Tuesday, Adrian got the win against Crest Ridge by a conclusive 3-0.

Adrian was especially dominant in the second set. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-11, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Sherwood came up short against Drexel on Thursday and fell 3-1.

Adrian's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Sherwood, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Everything went Adrian's way against Sherwood in their previous meeting back in September of 2024, as Adrian made off with a 3-0 win. Do the Blackhawks have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Marksmen turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
