Basketball Recap: Overlake Takes a Loss

Overlake lost against Bear Creek back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Overlake Owls came up short against the Bear Creek Grizzlies, falling 39-15. The match marked the Owls' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Overlake's loss was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Bear Creek, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season.

Coming up, Overlake won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Eastside Prep at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Bear Creek does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
