Football Game Preview: Lanier Bulldogs vs. Holmes County Central Jaguars + Official Tickets

The Lanier Bulldogs will take on the Holmes County Central Jaguars at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lanier will come into the matchup with an undefeated record on the line.

Lanier will bounce into Thursday's game after beating Provine, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. The Bulldogs were the clear victors by a 30-8 margin over the Rams on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won six contests by 22 points or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Holmes County Central entered their matchup against Cleveland Central on Thursday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The game between the Jaguars and the Wolves didn't end well, with the Jaguars falling 48-34.

Holmes County Central's loss dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Lanier, their win bumped their record up to 7-0.

Lanier was taken down by Holmes County Central 54-6 when the teams last played back in October of 2016. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Bulldogs were down 41-0.
