Volleyball Game Preview: Edgewood Lions vs. California Academy of Math & Science Coyotes

After both having extra time off, the Edgewood Lions and the California Academy of Math & Science Coyotes will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Edgewood will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Two weeks ago, Edgewood got the win against Workman by a conclusive 3-0.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Edgewood took every set by at least 25 points. The final score came out to 25-0, 25-0, 25-0.

Meanwhile, California Academy of Math & Science was able to grind out a solid win over Geffen Academy on Wednesday, taking the game 3-1. The victory continues a trend for the Coyotes in their matchups with the Bruins: they've now won six in a row.

The win didn't come easy: Geffen Academy scored at least 21 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 26-24, 21-25, 26-24.

Edgewood's record is now 10-4. As for California Academy of Math & Science, their record now sits at 8-12.
