Baseball Game Preview: Springfield Township Spartans vs. Upper Moreland Bears

For the second straight game, Springfield Township will face off against Upper Moreland. The Spartans will square off against the Bears at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. Springfield Township's pitching crew has only allowed 3.5 runs per game this season, so Upper Moreland's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Springfield Township is headed into the contest having just suffered their closest loss since April 24, 2024 on Tuesday. They fell just short of Upper Moreland by a score of 3-1. The Spartans' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.
