Volleyball Recap: Carver High School of Engineering & Science Comes Up Short

Carver High School of Engineering & Science didn't have quite enough to beat the La Salle College Explorers on Tuesday and fell 3-2.

Carver High School of Engineering & Science started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 23-25, 25-19, 25-20, 15-9.

Ziyan Hemmingway paced Carver High School of Engineering & Science's offense, picking up 12 kills. Hemmingway got some help from Masaki Dickerson and his 29 assists. Dickerson was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.

Carver High School of Engineering & Science's loss dropped their record down to 4-2.
