Soccer Game Preview: New Kent vs. Jamestown

New Kent hasn't had much luck against Jamestown recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Trojans will head out to square off against the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. New Kent's defense has only allowed 0.3 goals per game this season, so Jamestown's offense will have their work cut out for them.

New Kent is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to five goals on Friday, they were much more limited against Grafton on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Clippers by a score of 1-0.

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, Jamestown was forced to settle for a draw. They and Warhill finished up on equal footing with a 0-0 draw on Tuesday.

Jamestown's draw gives them a new season record of 4-3-1. As for New Kent, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-2-1.

New Kent suffered a grim 4-0 defeat to Jamestown when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Can the Trojans avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
