Volleyball Recap: Sheboygan Christian Find Success

Sheboygan Christian saw some tournament action on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Lourdes Knights 2-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Sofia Rodriguez was nothing short of spectacular: she had 11 digs and five aces. She has been hot recently, having posted four or more aces the last three times she's played.

Rodriguez wasn't the only good server: Sheboygan Christian was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 22 consecutive matchups dating back to last season.

Sheboygan Christian's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Lourdes, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Sheboygan Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Central Wisconsin Christian on the 30th. As for Lourdes, they have also already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Gibraltar on the 30th.
