Basketball Game Preview: Overlake Owls vs. King's Knights

Overlake hasn't had much luck against King recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Overlake Owls will be playing in front of their home fans against the King's Knights at 7:15 p.m. Overlake has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Overlake is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They walked away with a 73-61 victory over Cedar Park Christian on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, King's got the win against Eastside Prep on Wednesday by a conclusive 64-38. The Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matches by 23 points or more this season.

King's has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.9 points per game. As for Overlake, their win bumped their record up to 9-5.
