Christopher waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. Everything went their way against the Branham Bruins as they made off with a 71-48 win. The Cougars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 23 points or more this season.

Despite the loss, Branham still got an impressive performance from Daniel Wells, who went 5 of 10 en route to 14 points. Wells is also on a roll when it comes to three-point shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 40% in the last seven games he's played. Another player making a difference was Carlo Marinucci, who posted ten points.

Christopher pushed their record up to 18-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.3 points over those games. As for Branham, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 12 of their last 13 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-16 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Christopher will face off against Santa Teresa at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Santa Teresa's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five contests. As for Branham, they will challenge Pioneer at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Branham is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57.1 points per game this season.
