Basketball Recap: Cross County Snaps Eight-Game Streak of Losses at Home

Cross County came into Tuesday's game having lost six straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against the Piggott Mohawks by a score of 52-45 on Tuesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 66-52 on January 7th.

Cross County's victory ended an eight-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-14. As for Piggott, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-15.

Cross County will take on Bay at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Bay knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six contests -- so hopefully Cross County likes a good challenge. As for Piggott, they will square off against Marmaduke at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Piggott is facing Marmaduke at the right time seeing as Marmaduke is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
