On Thursday, Cicero Prep Academy got the win against BASIS Flagstaff by a conclusive 3-0.

Meanwhile, St. John Paul II Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against Benjamin Franklin, falling 3-0.

St. John Paul II Catholic took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-19, 25-20.

Cicero Prep Academy has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. As for St. John Paul II Catholic, their loss dropped their record down to 5-9.
