Basketball Recap: Colonial Christian Takes a Loss

Colonial Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were beaten by the Pinecrest Glades Academy Dragons 97-31. Sadly, that's the third time they've come up short against the Patriots this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 69-48 last Thursday.

Colonial Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Pinecrest Glades Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-14.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Colonial Christian will face off against Schoolhouse Prep on Monday. Schoolhouse Prep knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven games -- so hopefully Colonial Christian likes a good challenge. Pinecrest Glades Academy has already played their next match (against True North Classical Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
