Basketball Recap: Kennedy Makes It Three in a Row at Home

Kennedy extended their home winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Joseph Dahl. The Kennedy Crusaders blew past the Juarez Eagles 65-40 on Friday thanks in part to Dahl, who shot 6-for-10 from long range and dropped a double-double on 30 points and ten rebounds. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in steals (five).

Kennedy has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-15 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.6 points per game. As for Juarez, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-9.

Kennedy will be playing in front of their home fans against Comer at 6:30 p.m. on February 7th. Kennedy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51.7 points per game this season. As for Juarez, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Back of the Yards College Prep at 5:00 p.m. on February 12th. Back of the Yards College Prep will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Juarez surely won't give up without a fight.
