Basketball Recap: Five Straight Home Victories for Angleton

Angleton hadn't done well against Ball recently (they were 0-5 in their previous five matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Angleton Wildcats enjoyed a cozy 60-45 victory over the Ball Tornadoes. The score was all tied up 25-25 at the break, but the Wildcats were the better team in the second half.

Angleton found their leader in freshman Bryson Campbell, who went 10 of 17 en route to 24 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Braydon Campbell, who posted seven points along with eight boards and six assists.

Angleton smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive boards in three consecutive matchups.

As for Ball, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Iowa Colony at 7:00 p.m. Iowa Colony knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight games -- so hopefully Ball likes a good challenge.
