Littleton is 9-1 against Wheat Ridge since October of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Lions will square off against the Farmers at 6:30 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Littleton lost 3-0 to Green Mountain on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Lions in their meetings with the Rams: they've now lost six in a row.

Meanwhile, Wheat Ridge came up short against Evergreen on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

Wheat Ridge was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-23, 25-17.

Littleton now has a losing record of 9-10. As for Wheat Ridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-11.

Littleton took their win against Wheat Ridge in their previous meeting back in November of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lions since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
