Basketball Game Preview: George-Little Rock Mustangs vs. Sheldon Orabs

George-Little Rock and Sheldon are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2018, but not for long. The George-Little Rock Mustangs will host the Sheldon Orabs at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. George-Little Rock will be strutting in after a win while Sheldon will be coming in after a loss.

George-Little Rock is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn/Remsen-Union 59-31. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Mustangs have posted since February 6th.

Meanwhile, Sheldon had to suffer through a 77-32 loss at the hands of Rock Valley. The defeat continues a trend for the Orabs in their matchups with the Rockets: they've now lost five in a row.

Sheldon's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for George-Little Rock, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Everything came up roses for George-Little Rock against Sheldon in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, as the squad secured a 61-24 victory. Will George-Little Rock repeat their success, or does Sheldon have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
