St. Frances Academy barely beat Jemicy the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Panthers blew past Jemicy 12-2 on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won eight matches by six runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Mason Hodges, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. Those five RBI gave him a new career-high. Drake Nicholson also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

St. Frances Academy is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season. As for Jemicy, their loss was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-5.

Coming up, St. Frances Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Park School at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Bruins have averaged an impressive 6.7 runs per game this season. Jemicy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
