Softball Recap: Luling Takes a Loss

Luling fell victim to Goliad and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 15-0 to the Tigers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 12-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2023.

Luling has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-12 record this season. As for Goliad, their victory was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-3.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Luling is set to square off against their familiar foe Stockdale at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Goliad will face off against rival Nixon-Smiley at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
