Baseball Recap: Brandon Comes Up Short

Brandon's last matchup with Freedom could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Thursday. The Eagles came up short against the Patriots, falling 7-1. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Patriots recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Brandon saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Joemiis Stroman, who went 2-for-4 with one RBI.

Brandon's defeat dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Freedom, the win got them back to even at 10-10.

Coming up, Brandon will challenge Tampa Bay Tech at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Titans have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.4 runs per game on average), something the Eagles will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Freedom, they will face off against Gaither at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cowboys' pitching crew has only allowed 3.6 runs per game this season, so the Patriots' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
