Football Recap: Claremont Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Claremont fell victim to Charter Oak and their airtight defense on Friday. They were outmatched by the Chargers and fell 42-0. While losing is never fun, the Wolfpack can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 270th, while the Chargers are ranked 75th).

Torry Huff was his usual excellent self, rushing for 112 yards and one score on only 13 carries for Charter Oak.

Claremont's defeat dropped their record down to 6-1. As for Charter Oak, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Claremont is set to challenge their familiar foe Bonita at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Charter Oak will take on rival Los Osos at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
