Putnam had won two straight road games and Rhaiden Albino did his part to make it three on Friday. The Clippers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Woodstock Academy Centaurs with plenty of help from Albino, who had 32 assists and 25 digs. He is on a roll when it comes to assists, as he's now posted 12 or more in each of the last eight games he's played.

Putnam took Woodstock Academy into a fifth set where they got it done with a eight-point win. The final score came out to 12-25, 25-22, 25-19, 23-25, 15-7.

Putnam has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-6 record this season. As for Woodstock Academy, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-3.
