Volleyball Recap: Ascension Classical Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Northeast Baptist, Ascension Classical was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Christian Academy of Louisiana Crusaders.

Ascension Classical walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-13, 23-25, 25-17.

Kirsten Kay went supernova, getting 29 digs, nine aces, and six kills. Zy'Darius Davis was another key player, getting nine aces and four digs.

Ascension Classical's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Christian Academy of Louisiana, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Ascension Classical wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Brighton on the 23rd. Christian Academy of Louisiana has also already played their next contest (against Open Door Christian Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
