LaVergne has gone a perfect 5-0 against Wilson Central recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The LaVergne Wolverines will welcome the Wilson Central Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. LaVergne is coming into the game hot, having won their last 11 games.

Last Friday, LaVergne didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Stewarts Creek, but they still walked away with a 59-53 victory.

Meanwhile, Wilson Central fought the good fight in their overtime contest against Smyrna on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a 66-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

LaVergne pushed their record up to 16-7 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.2 points over those games. As for Wilson Central, their loss dropped their record down to 13-13.

LaVergne was able to grind out a solid victory over Wilson Central in their previous meeting back in January, winning 49-37. Will LaVergne repeat their success, or does Wilson Central have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
