Soccer Game Preview: Tabb vs. Lafayette

The Tabb Tigers will challenge the Lafayette Rams at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Tabb's last four matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

On Tuesday, Tabb narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past York 2-1.

Meanwhile, Lafayette didn't have quite enough to beat Grafton on Thursday and fell 3-2. While losing is never fun, Lafayette can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 102nd, while Grafton are ranked 16th).

Lafayette now has a losing record of 4-5-2. As for Tabb, their victory bumped their record up to 6-4-3.
