Itawamba Agricultural had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They walked away with a 12-8 victory over the South Pontotoc Cougars on Monday. Winning may never get old, but the Indians sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Itawamba Agricultural's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 27-6. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.7 runs over those games. As for South Pontotoc, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 18-11-1 record this season.

As of now, neither Itawamba Agricultural nor South Pontotoc have any future games scheduled.
