Fauquier has gone a perfect 9-0 against Manassas Park recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Falcons will look to defend their home field against the Cougars at 6:00 p.m.

Meanwhile, Manassas Park came into Thursday's game having lost eight straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They were the clear victors by a 16-6 margin over Osbourn on Thursday. The Cougars' offense finally found a way to get into gear: the high-octane performance was a 180-degree turn from their last eight games.

Minh Huynh made a big impact no matter where he played. He struck out eight batters over six innings while giving up four earned (and two unearned) runs off eight hits (and only one walk). Those eight strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Carlos Castillo Aviles, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in hits (two). Nicholas Hill was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.

Manassas Park kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

Manassas Park's victory bumped their record up to 3-10. As for Fauquier, their loss dropped their record down to 9-7.
