Gallup is 8-2 against Miyamura since March of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Bengals will face off against the Patriots at 6:00 p.m.

Gallup had taken Kirtland Central down for two straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Tuesday. The Bengals came up short against the Broncos, falling 3-0. The Bengals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Gallup was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-18, 25-12.

Meanwhile, Miyamura got the win against Aztec on Tuesday by a conclusive 3-0. The Patriots haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Miyamura not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Aztec between 15 and 18 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-15, 25-18.

Miyamura's win came from a few key players Gallup will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Giada Wagner, who had 20 assists and three digs.

Gallup's loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Miyamura, their victory bumped their record up to 6-8.
