Volleyball Game Preview: Union Academy Cardinals vs. Gray Stone Day Knights + How To Watch

The Union Academy Cardinals are taking a road trip to square off against the Gray Stone Day Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Gray Stone Day took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Union Academy, who comes in off a win.

It was a proper cat-fight when Union Academy challenged Central Academy of Technology & Arts on Monday. The Cardinals put the hurt on the Cougars with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cardinals.

While Union Academy might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Central Academy of Technology & Arts scored at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-18, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Gray Stone Day came up short against North Stanly on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Knights haven't had much luck with the Comets recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Union Academy's win bumped their record up to 15-3. As for Gray Stone Day, their loss dropped their record down to 7-10.

Everything went Union Academy's way against Gray Stone Day in their previous matchup on September 9th, as Union Academy made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cardinals since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
