Basketball Recap: Proctor Rails vs. Cromwell Cardinals
Proctor was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 64-56 to the Cromwell Cardinals. The Rails were probably out for revenge after losing 71-53 to them when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.
Brady Dahl was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 22 points and 14 boards for Cromwell. The matchup was Dahl's eighth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Dylan Nyberg, who posted 14 points.
Proctor's loss dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Cromwell, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-5.
Proctor will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Hinckley-Finlayson at 7:00 p.m. Cromwell has already played their next contest (against Mountain Iron-Buhl), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
