After having lost a blowout in their previous game against New Deal, Roosevelt was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They strolled past the Brownfield Cubs with points to spare, taking the game 47-32. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Cubs recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Joseph Kemp had a dynamite game, rushing for 284 yards and six scores. Roosevelt also got a significant boost from Ricardo Perez, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 108 yards.
